A BIT ABOUT US

Because We Can (bWc) is a non-profit corporation and a tax-exempt

501(c)(3) public charity.  

We feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, comfort the sick, visit the lonely, and embrace the stranger.  We walk the streets to find them, sit with them where they live and hold their hand where they lay.  It is not for us to judge them; it is only for us to help them.  We do so enthusiastically and we do so lovingly.  We do so because we can.  We need no other reason; there is no other reason.  It needs to be done, we can do it, and do it we shall.  

We have two very basic tenets which guide our practices:

1.  100% of donations go to help those in need.  Yes, 100%

2.  We provide 100% transparency into all we do, financial and otherwise.

These are our beliefs; they have become our deeds...
